Collaborative Accompaniment Winston-Salem, NC

Ms. Shandra Love provides professional collaborative piano accompaniment in the Winston-Salem, Wake Forest, Clemmons and Statesville areas.   I am the departmental accompanist for applied students at Winston-Salem State University.  I can accompany vocalists, woodwind, brass and string instruments and possess a high level of musicianship and expertise. 

 My experience as a former flautist for twenty-five years adds additional expertise to my piano accompaniment.  I possess a trained ear, rhythmic stability and the ability to modify my sound to blend with the soloist. 

The clarinet soloist in the video graduated from Manhattan School of Music in New York and also worked  with Yehuda Gilad.

 My piano technique incorporates the Russian Piano Method.  This is reflected in my performance of the Erlkonig by Franz Schubert.  A link to a video of my collaborative performance can be provided upon request or I can send a recording to you via email (The video recording belongs to me.)

Rates are based upon an hourly rate for high school and college students.  Typically, a middle school student is charged a 30-minute rate unless they are performing advanced literature.
