Collaborative Accompanist Lewisville Statesville Lake Norman

Ms. Shandra Love is a professional expert classical collaborative piano accompanist in the Winston-Salem (27103, 27104), Wake Forest University area (27109), Clemmons (27012) Lewisville (27023), Statesville (28625, 28677), Summerfield (27358), Charlotte (28207, 28211, 28203), Eastover, Myers Park, Starmount, Dilworth, Wilmore, Enderly Park, Southside, Uptown Charlotte, Waxhaw and Quail Hollow in Mecklenburg County.  

Ms. Love is also a piano accompanist in Statesville, Lake Norman, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Denver, Cornelius, Troutman, Marvin, Weddington, Sherrills Ford, Gastonia, Concord, Durham and Raleigh areas.   I am the departmental accompanist for applied students at Winston-Salem State University.  I can accompany vocalists, woodwind, brass and string instruments and possess a high level of musicianship, technique and expertise that has been developed over thirty-five years.

 My experience as a former flautist for twenty-five years adds additional expertise to my piano accompaniment.  I possess a trained ear, rhythmic stability and the expertise to modify my sound to blend with the soloist.  When appropriate, I use the una corda pedal to add a variety of tonal colors to my sound.  

The clarinet soloist in the video graduated from Manhattan School of Music in New York and also worked with Yehuda Gilad.

 My piano technique incorporates the Russian Piano Method and the Lister-Sink method.  This is reflected in my performance of the Erlkonig by Franz Schubert.  A link to a video of my collaborative performance can be provided upon request or I can send a recording to you via email (The video recording belongs to me and the vocalist is not affiliated with my employer).

Rates are based upon an hourly rate for high school, college and professional instrumentalists and vocalists.  Typically, a middle school student is charged a 30 or 45-minute rate unless they are performing advanced literature.
